Application process


The BREFC application process is open to all BRRSD educators & administrators that present a compelling, education-focused proposal as determined by the BREF.

  • All purchases from BREF funds are for the use of the applicant during the award year as defined by BREF and then become property of the Bridgewater-Raynham Regional School District thereafter.

  • This application is available online from July 17, 2024 must be completed by January 2, 2025 at 11:59p.m. on. After that time, it will become inaccessible online.

  • No applicant may receive direct financial benefit from any BREF grant.

  • Grant applications are welcome in all academic areas, all art disciplines, all physical education/health/wellness disciplines and guidance. All other education based requests will be reviewed by the BREFC Board of Directors to determine eligibility.

  • Proposals must seek funding to cover a period of time not greater than one academic year. Multi-year projects must be submit each year and will be evaluated accordingly.

  • Although all completed, eligible applications will be considered, BREF has a preference for funding new initiatives each year. Projects that have been previously funded through the BREF grant are not guaranteed funding again.

  • Please do not send any information other than what is requested in the application. If further information is required to evaluate your proposal, a member of the BREF Grant Committee will contact you.

Special Information and guidelines for applicants:

  • Applications may not request funding for teacher salaries or bonuses.

  • BREFC grant applications must be for initiatives that are outside of the Bridgewater-Raynham Regional School District’s current and planned operating budgets.

  • BREFC grant applications that seek funding for technology purchases must have endorsement from the Bridgewater-Raynham Regional School District’s Technology Director.
